As Chief Technology Officer for Mass General Brigham since January 2023, Sri oversees technology strategy, enterprise architecture, strategic partnerships, and infrastructure operations.
Before joining Mass General Brigham, Sri served as the Chief Architect at Novartis from 2020 to 2022, where he managed technology and digital strategy, innovation, and architecture. Prior to his tenure at Novartis, Sri was the Global Technology Strategist at Unilever from 2017 to 2020. His responsibilities included technology and digital strategy, as well as the application development of all digital capabilities encompassing data, analytics, and AI. He also oversaw the technology strategy for infrastructure support, including cloud, data centers, networks, and devices.
Sri has over two decades of leadership experience at Thomson Reuters and Reuters in various senior roles, including Vice President of Application Development, Chief Architect, and leader of Reuters’ innovation lab in New York. He also spent several years consulting on large-scale systems implementations, offering his expertise on architecture and technology strategy to notable companies such as AIG, CheckFree Corp, CompuServe, and Ramco Systems.
Sri holds an Advanced Master’s Diploma in Global Enterprise from the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, India, and a Master of Science in Computer Science.
Outside of work, Sri enjoys traveling, cooking, and baking with liquor, and is certified in mixology. He also teaches IT-based courses at renowned business schools, including the Indian Institute of Management and SDA Bocconi School of Management. Sri is passionate about mentoring startups during early-stage incubation and is proud to be an angel investor. He currently resides in Boston, MA with his wife and two children.
